Rest  why is it necessary.
Some make themselves sick by overwork .For these rest ,freedom from care and a sparse diet are essential to restoration. To those who are brain weary and nervous because of continuous labor and close confinement a visit to the country where they can live a simple, carefree life, coming in close contact with the things of nature will be most helpful. Roaming through the fields and woods  picking flowers. listening to the birds will do far more than any other agencies toward their recovery.
The body requires rest; this is why God instituted rest from the beginning. There are  Three)types of rest daily rest such as nightly sleep.  Weekly rest like the Sabbath rest and occasional rest like taking a vacation where you may take off from your work for a specific period of time and go away some place relaxing.

The front part of the brain called the prefrontal Cortex is very important. It is the part where decisions are made, from the simplest to the most complex. It is where right or wrong decisions are made.

If we are tired the prefrontal cortex is affected. Wrong decisions are made when the body lacks enough rest; 4-6 hours of sleep deprivation per week decreases the body's ability to handle stress..Two (2) hours deprived of sleep for four (4 ) nights is equivalent to the capacity performance of missing one (1) whole night's sleep.

 Individuals need to get enough sleep. At least 7-8 hours per night of sleep, in order to get maximum performance from the body. Individuals should aim at going to bed before or by 10:00 pm. The body needs these hour of rest between 10:00 pm and
12:00 pm to regenerate important components necessary to keep it functioning at peak performance.

Things like prolong stress, lack of exercise, lack of water, alcohol and caffeine intake can affect your rest. Avoid long hours of mental fatigue by getting rest in between mental work. Get at least a three (3 )minutes break between each forty five (45 )minutes of intense mental work.  Control stress by having a positive mental attitude. Try to see the good in every stressful situation ,not the bad In everything there is a lesson to learn.

If you are tired you will become more susceptible to temptations, you will have demised spirituality, study God's words less and commune less with God. The Savior saw one case  of supreme wretchedness .it was that of a cripple man alone and friendless feeling  that he was shut out from God’s mercy the suffer had passed many years in misery. The sick man was lying on his mat when a tender compassionate face bent over him and said the words” wilt thou be made whole.
